If I were meeting you in real life it wouldn't be long before I looked at your fingernails and began talking to you about your moons or lack of moons, and ridges if you happened to have ridges.
That's because a decade ago I discovered that my nails were reflecting my health. At the time I didn't know about vitamin B12 and how it's connected to how well we feel and think. But, once I started having B12 replacement therapy the changes I experienced were profound, I mean really profound.
I remember one day when I was driving and I was able to plan a whole new route to the store. I felt as if I'd been reborn and was young again.
Up until then there had been a long time when my memory problems were so bad that I would get confused simply driving to the store and it was too confusing to try to go to the store and the Post Office.
